About The Founder
(Pronounced FOO-MEE)
My love affair with shoes began long before I understood the meaning of fashion or luxury.
As a little girl, I spent countless hours in my mother’s shoe boutique, surrounded by beautiful heels, exquisite designs, and women shopping for life’s most memorable occasions. I watched my mother help women find the perfect pair for weddings, celebrations, and special moments. My sister and I would listen to their stories, share in their excitement, and admire the beautiful shoes that filled the store.
Those early experiences sparked a love for footwear that stayed with me long after childhood.
But as I grew older, so did my feet.
Suddenly, finding beautiful shoes in my size became a challenge. I knew what I wanted, and I was willing to invest in beautiful shoes. The problem was finding them. The styles I admired were rarely available, and when I did find my size, I often had to choose between style and comfort.
Then, in 2020, a back injury changed everything.
Wearing traditional heels became increasingly uncomfortable, and finding beautiful shoes that offered both style and comfort became even more frustrating. What had always been a challenge was now a problem I could no longer ignore.
That experience reignited a dream I had carried for years.
And in 2020, Charuse was reborn.
I created Charuse for women who refuse to compromise on style and comfort.
I believe every woman deserves the experience of slipping into a beautiful pair of shoes that makes her stand a little taller, walk confidently, and feel completely herself.
